Wet sanding (Additional service)

Wet sanding is an additional service for heavily oxidized boats in conjunction with 2-step polishing. The service includes all the steps of 2-step polishing, but before that, the surface is treated with wet sanding to remove the deepest oxidation and damage and to achieve the smoothest and shiniest possible finish.

Before processing
The surface is faded and rough, as the gelcoat has oxidized due to sun and weathering. It no longer reflects light or repels dirt, making it easier for contaminants to adhere and accelerate wear without proper treatment.

Our headquarters are in Kauniainen, and our main area of operation is the entire Uusimaa region. We serve customers in the Helsinki metropolitan area and nearby municipalities, and the polishing is done where your boat is located.
We are flexible and, if necessary, we will also travel outside of Uusimaa, for example to the Turku archipelago and Lahti, so that your boat gets the shine and protection it deserves.
