Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy
– The customer can cancel the booked appointment free of charge 24 hours before the start of the work.
– Cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance: Paattikiiltoon reserves the right to charge 50% of the service price.
– If the customer does not arrive or is unreachable and access to the boat or car is blocked (e.g. by a locked fence), we will charge 50% of the service price.
Weather, conditions and safety
– Paattikiiltoon may cancel or postpone the job if weather, boat location, car location, or safety prevent the job from being completed.
– The work will be postponed to the first possible date without any obligation to compensate.
The customer is responsible for:
– the boat being firmly and safely supported,
– the car being accessible,
– the site being cleared of movable property and is ready for work to be carried out,
If the work is prevented due to the customer's negligence, Paattikiiltoon may charge 25–50% of the service price.
Liability conditions
1. Boat Support, Stands and Cradles
Washee is not responsible for damages caused by:
– failure of boat stands, supports, lifting equipment, or cradle structures
– incorrect installation of supports by the customer
– unstable ground or dockyard area
The safe support of the boat is always the responsibility of the customer.
2. Customer-Requested Products or Methods
If the customer requires the use of a specific product, type of wax, or work method, Washee is not responsible for:
– color changes
– loss of gloss
– surface damage
– reactions between materials
– damage caused by chemicals
3. Hidden Defects and Previous Damage
Washee is not responsible for damages caused by:
– old scratches, wear, or oxidation
– previously poorly applied coatings or treatments
– osmosis, deterioration of paint, or structural defects
– previous water damage or moisture
– customer property that has not been removed or protected before work begins
4. Tire Work and Tire Safety
Washee is not responsible for:
– tire failure caused by age, wear, or manufacturing defects
– tire tearing during work if the material has weakened
– defects in tires supplied by the customer
– wheel rim corrosion or coating peeling if caused by previous treatments
5. Electrical Devices, Interiors and Interior Cleaning
Washee is not responsible for:
– damage to electronic devices if they have not been removed or properly protected
– worsening of existing moisture damage
– loss of valuables left by the customer
– the progression of issues revealed during interior cleaning (mold, moisture, structural defects)
6. Pressure Washers, Tools and External Risks
Washee is not responsible for damages caused by:
– weak seams or seals revealed by pressure washing
– surfaces that cannot withstand normal washing pressure
– the actions of third parties (dock operators, parking areas, marina areas)
7. Work Interruption for Safety Reasons
Washee may interrupt work without compensation if:
– the surface or ground is not safe
– weather conditions are too dangerous
– stands or supports are unstable
– risks exist in the customer’s area (icy ground, dangerous structures, animals, etc.)
8. Force Majeure – Uncontrollable Circumstances
Washee is not responsible for delays or damages caused by:
– weather conditions
– power outages
– illness
– theft
– fire
– actions of third parties
– any other force majeure or uncontrollable circumstance
